About the role

The Legists are seeking a Private Client Solicitor to lead their department in Bournemouth. This senior position offers the opportunity to shape the practice, develop client relationships and mentor the next generation of legal talent.

Key responsibilities

Provide trusted legal advice to individuals, families and business owners on private client matters.
Develop and grow your own practice while maintaining the firm’s high standards of service.
Lead and inspire a team of solicitors, contributing to the firm’s strategic direction.
Build long‑term relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact for complex cases.

Required profile

Minimum 8 years post‑qualification experience in private client law.
Demonstrated leadership ability and a passion for developing junior colleagues.
Strong commercial awareness and an entrepreneurial outlook.
Proven track record of growing a successful legal practice.
