Private Client Solicitor (Locum) – 8+ Years PQE – £40‑£55/hr

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor on a locum basis to join a well‑established London law firm for a six‑month assignment. The role offers a competitive rate of £40‑£55 per hour and a hybrid working pattern with one day per week remote.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a varied, non‑contentious private client caseload covering wills, probate, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, trusts and estate planning.
• Provide high‑quality legal advice and draft documents independently while collaborating with the existing team to maintain service standards.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and firm procedures throughout each matter.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years post‑qualification experience in private client law.
• Strong technical knowledge of all aspects of non‑contentious private client work.
• Excellent organisational abilities and capacity to handle a busy caseload with minimal supervision.
