Production Administrator (CNC Department)

About the role

Cooksongold is seeking an experienced Production Administrator to support the Wedding Ring Production Department within its CNC team. Based in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter, you will help ensure that customer orders are processed accurately and delivered on time.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate production administration and material planning for the CNC department.
• Maintain inventory control, track production progress and manage urgent order requirements.
• Liaise with suppliers to secure timely delivery of raw materials and resolve shortages.
• Update and monitor production planning software and spreadsheets to reflect real‑time status.
• Collaborate closely with production teams and internal departments to optimise workflow.

Required profile

• Previous experience in production, manufacturing administration, planning or supply‑chain support.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude with a collaborative team mindset.

Required skills

• Excel (spreadsheets) proficiency.
• Experience using production planning software.
• Familiarity with CNC manufacturing environments.
