Production Operative – Bar Saw

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operative (Bar Saw) to join our Milton Keynes site, where we process metal bars and tubes for aerospace, defence, and medical customers. You will work with state‑of‑the‑art CNC cutting equipment and robotics to deliver high‑quality components to tight tolerances.

Key responsibilities

• Operate the Bar Saw safely and to a high quality standard.
• Maintain warehouse traceability for all processed material.
• Read technical drawings and accurately set machines to produce parts to order.
• Use forklifts to retrieve material and record all information on job sheets.
• Support other tasks on the shop floor as required.

Required profile

• Experience operating saws or similar cutting equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Flexibility to assist with additional duties.
• Strong communication and time‑management skills.
• Forklift training is desirable; training can be provided for the right candidate.
