Production Operative – Progression Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a Production Operative ready to step up into a Progression Team Leader role. You will lead a production team, ensure health and safety standards, and maintain product quality while meeting daily output targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and monitor the production team on a shift basis.
• Keep production running efficiently to achieve daily targets.
• Oversee product quality and ensure packaging meets company standards.
• Monitor product temperatures throughout the process.
• Enforce health and safety procedures on the shop floor.
• Coordinate specialist forklift training for yourself and team members.

Required profile

• Current production operative looking to progress into a team‑leader position.
• Willingness to undertake specialist forklift training.
• Availability to work Monday‑Friday, 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm (37.5 hours per week).
• Openness to optional overtime, including weekend rates.

Required skills

• Forklift operation (training provided).

What we offer

• Salary £27,000 – £28,000 per year (OTE up to £37,000 with overtime).
