Project Manager (Defense Sector)

About the Role

We are looking for an ambitious Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager to join our growing Glasgow office and take a significant step in their professional career.

In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering high-standard projects for a prestigious client within the Defense sector. You will be responsible for ensuring all deliverables meet contractual specifications, quality standards, and strict timelines within a supportive and mentoring-rich environment.

Main Missions

• Define client requirements and specifications from the outset, collaborating with and organizing various consultants.
• Coordinate and manage communications between the client, project stakeholders, and consultants to ensure all requirements are met.
• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive project programmes.
• Manage project changes and coordinate the design process.
• Supervise and control projects both pre- and post-contract, including rigorous financial expenditure control across all RIBA stages.
• Draft and distribute essential project documentation, including Project Execution Plans (PEP), strategy reports, risk registers, and progress reports.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in project management or a strong desire to progress from an Assistant level to a Project Manager role.
• A positive attitude with a proactive willingness to tackle new and complex challenges.
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, national team environment.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain necessary security clearance for Defense sector projects.
