Project Manager – Operating Model Design for Saudi Market

About the role

We are seeking a Project Manager to lead the design of an end‑to‑end operating model for Saudi‑market custody services. The role will be based in Manchester with four days on‑site each week and will run for six months.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and document the complete Saudi custody operating model in partnership with bank subject‑matter experts.
• Conduct current‑state assessments, identify business, operational and regulatory gaps.
• Facilitate workshops with Product, Operations, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Finance and Client Service teams.
• Define target‑state processes, controls, roles and operating procedures.
• Document Saudi market regulatory requirements, including EDAA, Tadawul and related obligations.
• Create process maps, requirements documentation and RACI models.
• Support implementation planning, governance and readiness reviews.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to validate the operating model design.

Required profile

• Proven experience in Saudi capital markets and custody or asset‑servicing environments.
• Track record delivering large‑scale market entry, regulatory or transformation programmes.
• Ability to translate regulatory requirements into operational capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills.
