Purchasing Coordinator – Liverpool

About the role

The Purchasing Coordinator will support the procurement and supply‑chain function of an industrial manufacturing business in Liverpool. You will ensure that purchase orders are processed efficiently and that the site remains well‑supplied.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage purchase orders to meet operational requirements.
• Work closely with suppliers to secure timely delivery of materials and goods.
• Monitor stock levels and place orders to avoid shortages or excess inventory.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and update procurement systems.
• Resolve issues related to orders, deliveries or supplier performance.
• Provide administrative support and reporting for the procurement team.
• Communicate supply needs and updates to internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement guidelines.

Required profile

• Strong administration experience in procurement, purchasing or supply‑chain within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in record‑keeping.
• Familiarity with stock management and procurement systems.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach.
• Immediate availability to start.

Required skills

What we offer

• Hourly rate of approximately £17.00, dependent on experience.
• Temporary (fixed‑term) contract based in Liverpool.
