Python Developer – Hybrid – London

About the role

We are partnering with a growing technology‑led business looking for a Python Developer to join their team in London. The role focuses on internal applications, AI initiatives and business automation, offering ownership and a clear progression path.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance internal applications, tools and integrations using Python.
• Build APIs and connect business systems to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Work closely with Sales and other business teams to understand challenges and identify technology‑driven solutions.
• Turn ideas and business requirements into practical, user‑focused applications.
• Take ownership of solutions from concept through delivery and ongoing improvement.
• Contribute to AI and automation initiatives across the organisation.
• Support and enhance existing applications and internal platforms.
• Collaborate with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders across the business.

Required profile

• Commercial experience developing with Python.
• Experience building applications, APIs, internal tools or automation solutions.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a practical approach to development.
• Confident communicator who enjoys working directly with business stakeholders.
• Ability to understand requirements, challenge ideas where appropriate and translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Proactive individual who enjoys taking ownership and driving outcomes.
• Interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies.
