Qualified Social Workers – Family Safeguarding (5 positions)

About the role

PPR Social Care is seeking five qualified social workers to join its Family Safeguarding Teams across Hertfordshire. The role offers hybrid working with three days on site and provides a supportive environment with regular supervision and training.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct care planning, assessments and reviews for families at risk.
• Prepare and deliver welfare reports for conferences and court hearings.
• Maintain a caseload of fewer than 20 cases per qualified social worker.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure child and family safety.

Required profile

• Qualified social worker with experience in family safeguarding.
• Ability to produce clear welfare reports for legal settings.
• Willingness to work on‑site three days a week in Stevenage or St Albans.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and supervision.
