Receptionist – Front Desk & Operations Support

About the role
Honeywell is looking for a Receptionist to join its Cambridge site. The role involves supporting day‑to‑day operations on a full‑time basis (40 hours per week) between 08:00 and 18:00, acting as the first point of contact for visitors and internal teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily operations, including supporting PPM completion via the SMS tool within the Salesforce Suite.
- Perform front‑desk reception duties and handle post‑room tasks.
- Coordinate subcontractors for service and project work and set up meeting rooms according to customer requests.
- Assist the site head, support external audits, and represent Honeywell in customer liaison.
- Implement front‑line HSE protocols and attend regular meetings.
- Update controlled documents, prepare forecasts and quotes for extra works, order parts, and manage waste‑disposal documentation.
Required profile
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer‑service focus.
- Proactive, self‑motivated attitude, high energy and commitment to tasks.
- Accuracy, sound judgment and effective prioritisation.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and adapt to flexible service‑oriented hours.
- Reliable attendance, punctuality and a record of good time‑keeping.
Required skills
- Proficient computer skills, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of PowerPoint and Word.
- Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce (a plus).
