Recruitment Consultant – Accountancy & Finance (Birmingham)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Recruitment Consultant to own and grow a permanent Accountancy & Finance desk in Birmingham. You will work from our modern office, initially on‑site and later in a hybrid model, building client relationships and delivering high‑quality recruitment services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage a portfolio of accountancy and finance clients.
• Source, interview and place candidates across roles such as payroll, accounts receivable, purchase ledger and wider finance positions.
• Win new business and expand existing accounts, becoming a market specialist in Birmingham and surrounding postcodes.
• Provide consultative, end‑to‑end recruitment services to both clients and candidates.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accountancy & finance recruitment or a similar vertical.
• Strong business development and client acquisition skills.
• Excellent relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Proactive, driven and resilient mindset with a desire for ownership and growth.
