Recruitment Consultant – Scale‑up Talent Acquisition

About the role

The Growth Foundation Talent team is seeking a Recruitment Consultant to lead hiring for marketing, operations, finance and supply‑chain roles across our scale‑up client base. You will combine hands‑on candidate sourcing with business development to win new clients and deliver high‑quality hires.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with founders, hiring managers and internal stakeholders to define hiring needs, role specifications and success profiles for fast‑growing companies.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle – from role scoping and sourcing to screening, interviewing, offer negotiation and onboarding coordination.
• Proactively source talent via LinkedIn, niche communities, referrals and direct outreach, building pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Conduct structured candidate assessments, including competency‑based interviews, role‑fit evaluations and reference checks.
• Advise clients on market insights, salary benchmarking, candidate availability and hiring strategy to optimise time‑to‑hire.
• Maintain a positive candidate experience with clear communication and timely feedback throughout the process.
• Keep accurate recruitment records in the ATS, produce status updates and forecasts, and meet placement, revenue and client‑satisfaction targets.
• Stay updated on sector hiring trends, competitor activity and emerging talent pools to refine sourcing strategies.

Required profile

• Energetic recruiter with proven success placing candidates in high‑growth or scale‑up environments.
• Strong sourcing capability combined with a commercial mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Experience in agency recruitment or in‑house RPO supporting scale‑ups, delivering end‑to‑end hires across commercial, product or engineering functions.
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven setting.
