Recruitment Specialist (3-month contract)

About the role

Anglo American is seeking a Recruitment Specialist to lead full‑cycle hiring for a three‑month fixed‑term period, with the possibility of extension. Working in a hybrid model, you will partner with hiring managers across the organisation to attract top talent for professional and specialist positions.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end recruitment processes from brief to offer and onboarding.
• Source and engage candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals and direct search.
• Handle multiple requisitions simultaneously while maintaining clear communication.
• Partner with hiring managers to define role requirements and provide market insight.
• Conduct competency‑based screening interviews and assess cultural fit.
• Maintain accurate recruitment records and support continuous process improvement.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a recruiter in‑house, agency or RPO.
• Strong sourcing capabilities for professional and specialist roles.
• Confident stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Skilled in competency‑based interviewing.
• Highly organised with strong time‑management under pressure.
• Clear communicator with a candidate‑focused mindset.
• Experience in large or complex/global organisations is a plus.
