Registered Care Manager – CQC Rated Service

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Care Manager to lead our CQC‑rated Good supported‑living service at Ash Grove, Northfield, Birmingham. The role offers a 12‑month fixed‑term contract, full‑time hours, and the chance to shape high‑quality, person‑centred care for a dedicated team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of approximately 10 staff members.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with CQC standards and maintain outstanding care quality.
• Oversee recruitment, training, supervision and professional development.
• Manage medication, safeguarding, health and safety, and overall service quality.
• Collaborate closely with the Housing Manager to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Drive continuous improvement and achieve positive outcomes for service users.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a CQC‑registered service.
• Minimum two years of leadership experience in health or social care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and medication management.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational abilities.
• Eligibility to meet CQC Registered Manager requirements.
• Enhanced DBS required.
