Research Associate – Patient‑Centered Outcomes

About the role

Lumanity is seeking a Research Associate to join its Patient‑Centered Outcomes (PCO) team in the UK. This hybrid position supports the generation of real‑world evidence and the development of compelling product narratives for life‑sciences clients.

Key responsibilities

• Execute targeted literature reviews by following predefined search strategies, applying screening criteria, and extracting data.
• Draft, revise, and quality‑check study documents using approved templates and project‑lead guidance.
• Prepare for and conduct qualitative interviews with patients or caregivers, both virtually and in‑person.
• Code and analyse qualitative data using a coding framework under project lead supervision.
• Implement surveys, perform pilot testing, quality‑check data, analyse open‑ended responses, and produce descriptive statistics.
• Attend client meetings, capture discussion points, and produce clear meeting minutes.
• Draft sections of client deliverables (e.g., introductions, methods, results) for reports and presentations.
• Follow the PCO Quality Management System and QC checklists to ensure error‑free deliverables.
• Manage tasks across multiple concurrent projects, meeting deadlines and communicating status.

Required profile

• Undergraduate or Master’s degree in a health‑related discipline.
• No prior full‑time professional experience required; internships, academic research, or administrative coordination in health, research, or clinical settings are advantageous.
