Residential Conveyancer – Property Solicitor (Remote/Flexible)

About the role

OpenSourced Ltd is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to manage a capped caseload of residential sales, purchases and remortgages. The role offers the autonomy to handle transactions from instruction to completion while benefiting from structured onboarding and dedicated post‑completion support. You will work remotely with occasional liaison with clients and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Manage residential conveyancing caseload from instruction through completion, including sales, purchases and remortgages.
• Handle freehold and leasehold transactions, new‑build and shared‑ownership matters.
• Investigate title issues, identify legal risks and conduct fraud and compliance checks.
• Prepare and submit Stamp Duty returns and manage secure fund transfers.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and other solicitors throughout the process.
• Coordinate with the post‑completion team for registrations, file closures and final documentation.
• Support junior team members as required.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or CILEX professional.
• Minimum 3 years post‑qualification experience managing residential conveyancing matters.
• Proven experience with freehold, leasehold, new‑build and shared‑ownership transactions.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Confident communicator with clients and external stakeholders.
