Residential Property Paralegal (Graduate) – Hybrid

About the role

This graduate‑level position supports a busy residential property team in Manchester City Centre. You will work directly with fee earners, handling conveyancing matters from initial client contact through to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Draft standard conveyancing documents such as contracts and transfer deeds.
• Carry out Land Registry and property searches.
• Manage fee‑earner inboxes and assist with SDLT submissions.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents and solicitors throughout the transaction.
• Prepare completion statements, statements of account and handle exchange/completion formalities.
• Perform post‑completion tasks including registration and file closure.
• Record time, support billing processes and undertake general administrative duties.
• Develop into the primary initial contact on matters under solicitor supervision.

Required profile

• Motivated, organised graduate or current LLM/LPC student with a strong academic record.
• Excellent client‑facing communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to file management.
