Residential Property Paralegal (Hybrid)

About the role

Our client, a progressive law firm in Manchester city centre, is seeking a Residential Property Paralegal to work on a hybrid basis. The role supports fee earners with residential sales and purchases, ensuring high standards of client care and efficient file management.

Key responsibilities

• Draft standard conveyancing documents such as contracts and transfer deeds.
• Carry out Land Registry searches and property investigations.
• Prepare and submit SDLT returns and Land Registry applications.
• Manage fee‑earner inboxes, time‑recording and billing assistance.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents and solicitors throughout the transaction.
• Handle exchange and completion formalities, including post‑completion registration and file closure.
• Support the preparation of completion statements and accounts.

Required profile

• Motivated, organised and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent client‑facing communication skills.
• Currently studying for an LLM or LPC, or a recent graduate with a strong academic record.
• Willingness to develop towards a training contract based on performance.

Required skills

• Knowledge of residential conveyancing processes and documentation.
