Restaurant Trainer

About the role

Join Hickory's Smokehouse as a Restaurant Trainer and help shape the next generation of hospitality talent. You will work on recruitment, onboarding and ongoing development of our restaurant teams while embodying our Southern Hospitality mindset.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, train and mentor restaurant staff across multiple locations.
• Lead team trips and promote authentic Southern style hospitality.
• Evaluate existing processes, propose improvements and implement new ideas.
• Provide constructive feedback and maintain the highest service standards.
• Support overnight stays and project‑based initiatives as required.

Required profile

• Previous training or coaching experience in a fast‑paced, high‑volume restaurant environment.
• Demonstrated project management experience.
• Ability to work to strict timeframes and handle overnight stays.
• Passion for developing others and delivering top‑class guest experiences.
• Welcoming, empathetic personality with strong communication skills.
