Returns Coordinator

About the role

Davies Group is seeking a Returns Coordinator to join its Vehicle Replacement Group in Birmingham. You will manage the off‑hire process for vehicles, ensuring priority returns are handled first to protect the business’s profit.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritise and action off‑hire requests according to business profit targets.
• Communicate with customers via phone, text and email to arrange vehicle collection.
• Process off‑hire transactions with suppliers following internal procedures and SLA commitments.
• Handle customer decisions to retain or refuse a hire vehicle and apply appropriate abortive charges.
• Maintain the off‑hire inbox, upload data into the system, and generate supplier reports.
• Answer telephone calls efficiently and meet reporting deadlines set by the Team Leader.
• Process payments and support the Team Leader as needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a busy customer‑service environment.
• Proactive problem‑solver with the ability to organise own workload.
• Quick learner with a natural aptitude for understanding processes.
• Good overall education standard and ability to work well within a team while using own initiative.
