Sales Ambassador – Retail (£28k base + OTE up to £50k)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Sales Ambassador to join our high‑performing retail team in Essex. You will be the front‑line representative, helping customers discover the right products while driving sales and delivering an exceptional shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Identify customer needs and provide tailored product recommendations.
• Demonstrate in‑depth knowledge of our product range and features.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators.
• Maintain a clean, organised sales floor and attractive visual displays.
• Process transactions accurately using the POS system.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure satisfaction.
• Stay up‑to‑date with product knowledge and industry trends.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a sales role, preferably in retail sectors such as telecoms, furniture, homeware, kitchen, bedroom or bathroom.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to build rapport and understand customer needs.
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with point‑of‑sale systems.
