Sales Controller – Automotive Dealership

About the role

The Sales Controller will report to the General Sales Manager and be responsible for profitability, stock purchases and vehicle preparation within the Mercedes‑Benz dealership. This full‑time position supports the sales team to deliver outstanding customer service and may include weekend work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage dealership profitability and monitor financial performance.
• Oversee stock purchasing and vehicle preparation processes.
• Develop and implement effective sales plans.
• Ensure high standards of customer service across the sales department.
• Identify and introduce innovative ideas to improve performance.

Required profile

• Broad knowledge of the motor trade.
• Proven track record in sales or sales management within the automotive industry.
• Management or supervisory experience in an automotive sales team.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• High standards, initiative and logical, cost‑effective working style.
