Salesforce Developer (Mid‑Level)

About the role

The role is a mid‑level Salesforce Developer within Redgate’s internal systems team in Cambridge. You will own end‑to‑end features across Salesforce, Zuora and .NET services, supporting internal users in Sales, Marketing, Finance and Revenue Ops.

Key responsibilities

• Own and deliver features end‑to‑end, from design through deployment and maintenance.
• Provide direct support to internal stakeholders across Finance, Sales and Revenue Ops, translating business problems into technical solutions.
• Build and extend Salesforce functionality (Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows) and integrate with Zuora Billing and Marketo.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation and knowledge sharing; pair programming and incident response for key systems.

Required profile

• Solid Salesforce platform development experience, including Apex, LWC and Flows, with understanding of governor limits and security model.
• Experience applying Salesforce design patterns (bulkification, separation of concerns, trigger frameworks) and raising issues when not followed.
• Ability to design and build integrations with third‑party systems using REST APIs and event‑driven patterns.
• Strong communication skills to work directly with business stakeholders and translate technical constraints.
• Proactive, self‑directed, able to navigate ambiguity and take ownership.
