SC Cleared Frontend Developer – 6 Month Contract

About the role
We are seeking an SC‑cleared Front‑End Developer to join a Government sector project for a six‑month contract. The role involves building and testing modern web applications, with occasional on‑site visits to locations such as Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, or Birmingham.
Key responsibilities
- Develop responsive web applications using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Implement server‑side functionality with Node.js.
- Create and maintain automated unit tests and TDD suites.
- Perform browser‑based testing using Playwright or Selenium.
- Ensure accessibility compliance (WCAG) throughout development.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, Jenkins or GitHub Actions.
Required profile
- Active SC security clearance (essential).
- Eligibility to work in the UK.
- Proven experience building modern, user‑friendly web applications.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery methods (Scrum/Kanban).
