About the role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join an outstanding secondary school in East London. The role starts in September 2026 and is a long‑term, full‑time position within a high‑performing Science department.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver inspiring Science lessons for Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
- Plan and teach practical sessions in modern, fully equipped laboratories.
- Collaborate with department colleagues on curriculum development and assessment.
- Contribute to a supportive, inclusive learning environment and uphold high standards of student behaviour.
Required profile
- Qualified Science Teacher with QTS or QTLS.
- Strong subject knowledge across any Science specialism.
- Ability to motivate, stretch and challenge learners.
- Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
- Open to both experienced teachers and high‑quality early career teachers.
