About the role
The school is seeking a qualified Science Teacher to join its well‑resourced, high‑achieving secondary department in North London. This full‑time, temporary position starts in January 2026 and will cover a planned absence for at least one term. You will teach across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, delivering engaging, inquiry‑based lessons that inspire a love of science.
Key responsibilities
- Teach Science to KS3 and KS4 pupils, planning and delivering curriculum‑aligned lessons.
- Cover a planned staff absence from January 2026 for a minimum of one term.
- Collaborate with the department using excellent resources and shared planning time.
- Participate in the school’s CPD programme and take advantage of progression opportunities.
Required profile
- Qualified Science Teacher holding QTS or QTLS.
- Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion for learning.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
