Seasonal Sales Assistant (Temporary)

About the role

In this temporary seasonal role you’ll be the face of the Wakefield store, welcoming customers, providing product demonstrations and personalised recommendations, and helping to drive sales until 31 December 2026.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming store environment.
• Provide personalized product recommendations and conduct demonstrations.
• Offer tailored samples and host in‑store events.
• Maintain a clean, tidy and visually appealing shop floor.
• Support sales targets by promoting products creatively.
• Manage stock levels and ensure shelves are well‑stocked.
• Control store costs such as product waste.
• Participate in ongoing training and development.

Required profile

• Availability to work 8 hours per week, with additional shifts during the holiday period.
• Must work on either Christmas Eve or Boxing Day; no annual leave can be taken in December.
• Ability to start training the week of 26 October and begin work shortly after.
