Security Officer - Gatehouse (SIA Licensed)

About the Role

Join Mitie, a leader in facilities management, as a dedicated Gatehouse Security Officer. You will play a critical role in protecting people, property, and assets at the prestigious Pirelli Tyres site, ensuring a safe and secure environment for all employees and visitors.

Main Missions

• Manage site access control and monitor entry/exit points at the gatehouse.
• Ensure strict compliance with company policies, UK legislation, and specific Assignment Instructions.
• Proactively identify and report potential hazards or security threats to maintain health and safety standards.
• Respond effectively to emergency situations and initiate necessary emergency calls.
• Maintain accurate and detailed incident reports and daily logs.
• Follow all security protocols as directed by the Security Account Manager.

Candidate Profile

• Must hold a valid and current SIA License (mandatory).
• Proven experience in security or a similar protective role is preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible 12-hour shift pattern, including days, nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Strong sense of responsibility, alertness, and attention to detail.
• Reliable professional with excellent time management skills.
