SEN Teacher – ACE Provision (Primary)

About the role

This full‑time, temporary position is for a Special Educational Needs (SEN) teacher within an ACE provision at a welcoming primary school in Hounslow. You will lead a small class of eight pupils with a range of additional needs, delivering personalised, high‑quality learning in a well‑resourced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to each pupil’s learning profile.
• Manage a small class of eight pupils, adapting teaching strategies to varied academic and developmental levels.
• Collaborate closely with 2‑3 experienced Learning Support Assistants to provide targeted support.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and nurturing classroom atmosphere.
• Monitor progress, assess outcomes and adjust approaches to maximise pupil achievement.

Required profile

• Holds UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Experience working with pupils with SEND in mainstream or specialist settings.
• Strong understanding of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and personalised learning approaches.
• Patient, adaptable and nurturing teaching style.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
