SEN Teaching Assistant – Full‑time Cover in North London

About the role

We are seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to provide short‑term and daily cover across SEN settings in Islington, Camden, Hackney and Haringey. The role is full‑time and offers flexible placement to match your availability.

Key responsibilities

  • Support SEN pupils in classroom and one‑to‑one settings.
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation and delivery for students with special educational needs.
  • Provide short‑term or daily cover as required by the school.
  • Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and interventions.

Required profile

  • Relevant SEN training or qualifications.
  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant working with SEN students.
  • Commitment to supporting children with special educational needs.
  • Flexible, caring and reliable attitude.
