SEND Teacher – Special Needs KS1/EYFS Class

About the role

Prospero Teaching is partnering with a specialist special‑needs school in Hackney to recruit a SEND Teacher for a KS1 class that operates at EYFS level. The role starts in September 2026 and is based on‑site in Stoke Newington, offering a supportive environment for both staff and learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess KS1/EYFS curriculum tailored to complex needs.
• Provide differentiated instruction and individualized support for SEND pupils.
• Collaborate with senior staff and multidisciplinary teams to monitor progress.
• Maintain accurate records of student achievement and wellbeing.
• Contribute to a positive, family‑feel school culture.

Required profile

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Proven experience in a special‑needs setting.
• Background teaching EYFS and KS1 pupils.
• Experience with complex needs learners.
• Strong English and maths proficiency.
