Senior Account Manager

About the role

Real Chemistry is seeking a Senior Account Manager to act as the primary client contact, manage multiple medium to large medical‑education projects and help grow existing accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Act as day‑to‑day client contact, providing status updates, managing expectations and translating briefs into realistic project plans.
• Lead medium to large projects from start to finish, formulating objectives and strategies with support from the account lead.
• Identify organic growth opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to new‑business pitches.
• Coach and mentor junior team members, line‑manage at least one AA/SAA and support performance development.
• Develop and track integrated budgets, support invoicing, forecasting and month‑end finance meetings.

Required profile

• Degree in a scientific discipline and proven experience in medical education or integrated communications.
• Strong business communication skills, both formal and informal, with the ability to present to clients.
• Proactive, organized self‑starter who can work independently under tight deadlines.
• Adaptable, resilient and comfortable adjusting scope as the business evolves.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office – PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Ability to communicate data effectively and develop client‑facing presentations.
• Experience editing junior staff writing and presentation material.
