Senior Accountant, Investment

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its European Investment Finance Team in London. The role supports the Finance Director and works on the company’s flagship closed‑ended real‑estate funds, providing cash‑flow analysis, forecasting and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage cash and liquidity across fund structures, monitor sources and uses of cash on deals, and prepare investor forecasts.
• Prepare quarterly and ad‑hoc intra‑group distribution and capital‑call waterfalls, ensuring accurate cash‑balance tracking.
• Assist fund administrators with investor capital‑call and distribution processes, coordinating with Portfolio Management, Investor Relations and Corporate Accounting.
• Track upcoming deals, plan liquidity needs and document timing for funding commitments.
• Consolidate fund‑level budget versus actuals, produce commentary and support financial reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant with experience in fund finance or real‑estate investment accounting.
• Strong analytical mindset, comfortable translating complex data into clear decision‑making outputs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with portfolio, asset‑management and senior finance teams.
