Senior AI & GenAI Developer – Glasgow/Edinburgh

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Developer with a focus on AI and Generative AI to join our fast‑growing team in Scotland. The role will involve designing and delivering AI‑enabled solutions that improve how people work, using modern cloud technologies and a collaborative agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build scalable AI‑enabled applications on Azure.
• Develop GenAI/LLM‑powered features such as copilots and automation tools.
• Implement Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns, including embeddings, vector search and chunking.
• Ensure production‑ready systems with robust evaluation, monitoring and AI guardrails.
• Work across the full software lifecycle from concept through deployment.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and mentor junior developers.

Required profile

• Strong background in software engineering and delivery of AI/GenAI solutions.
• Experience with .NET development, cloud platforms (Azure), APIs, micro‑services and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in prompt engineering and responsible AI practices.
• Test‑driven, quality‑focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
