Senior Associate – Insurance Disputes (Warranty & Indemnity)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join a leading global law firm’s expanding contentious insurance team in London. The role centres on advising insurers on coverage matters, particularly Warranty & Indemnity policies and other transactional liability products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide coverage advice to insurers on buyer‑side Warranty & Indemnity policies.
• Advise on Tax Indemnity, Contingent Risk and Judgment Protection insurance products.
• Work on cross‑border mandates and collaborate with colleagues worldwide.
• Potentially support Financial Lines claims such as Directors & Officers, Financial Institutions Professional Indemnity, and Crime.
• Contribute to the team’s international capability in handling complex, large‑scale disputes.

Required profile

• Significant experience in insurance dispute resolution, preferably at a law firm.
• Deep knowledge of Warranty & Indemnity and other transactional liability insurance.
• Proven ability to advise on coverage issues and work on cross‑border matters.
• Experience with financial‑lines insurance claims is advantageous.
