Senior Associate – Regulatory & Advisory (UK Law Firm)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Associate to join the Regulatory & Advisory team of a growing national law firm based in Birmingham. You will work alongside recognised specialists, advising corporates, public‑sector bodies and regulated businesses on complex, high‑profile regulatory matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on Financial Services Regulation, including FCA advisory and contentious work.
• Handle Health & Social Care public inquiries and Health & Safety regulatory defence matters.
• Develop and maintain lasting client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
• Contribute to the growth and strategic direction of the practice.

Required profile

• Strong experience in one or more of the specialist areas listed above.
• Excellent technical and commercial judgement.
• Proven track record of developing client relationships and generating new work.
• Business‑development mindset with ambition to progress towards partnership.
