Senior Bookkeeper – Music, Sport, TV and Media Clients

About the role

We are a niche accountancy firm in central London seeking a Senior Bookkeeper to provide first‑class bookkeeping and VAT services to high‑profile clients in music, sport, TV, media and entertainment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of individual and corporate clients, ensuring service to a very high standard.
• Prepare bookkeeping assignments and process client VAT returns.
• Process payrolls end‑to‑end where experience exists.
• Potentially train, manage and review the work of junior staff in the future.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years bookkeeping and VAT return experience in a quality practice.
• Currently employed in a reputable accountancy firm.
• Strong, up‑to‑date knowledge of VAT and bookkeeping assignments.
• Motivation to continue a bookkeeping/VAT career in a Zone 1 London firm.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero accounting software.
• Experience preparing and submitting VAT returns.
• Bookkeeping competence across multiple sectors.
• Payroll processing (desirable).
