Senior Children’s Social Worker – Safeguarding & Assessment (West London)

About the role

This contract position is for an experienced Senior Children’s Social Worker to join Safeguarding and Assessment Teams, as well as Adolescent Teams, in the Ealing area of West London. The role offers a hybrid working model, allowing you to balance office presence with remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct safeguarding assessments and investigations for children and young people.
• Provide case management and support within adolescent teams.
• Collaborate with multi‑agency partners to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
• Maintain accurate case records and comply with statutory guidelines.
• Participate in team meetings, case reviews, and professional development activities.

Required profile

• Qualified Social Worker with substantial experience in children’s services.
• Demonstrated senior‑level expertise in safeguarding and assessment.
• Strong understanding of UK child protection legislation and best practice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
