Senior Cloud Engineer – Contract (Hybrid, London)

About the role

Deloitte is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to join its Technology and Transformation team on an 11‑month contract. Working hybrid (three days a week on‑site in London), you will support a global financial services client, delivering robust cloud solutions across AWS and GCP.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Java and Python applications on AWS.
• Implement and manage end‑to‑end Cloud DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines.
• Orchestrate container workloads using Kubernetes.
• Define infrastructure as code with Terraform and maintain related DevOps tooling.
• Engineer, optimise and maintain data‑warehousing solutions in Snowflake.

Required profile

• 10+ years of cloud engineering experience, preferably within financial services.
• Proven ability to deliver complex cloud projects at scale.
