Senior Consultant – Consulting

About the role

The Senior Consultant will lead a team of Consultants and Associates, ensuring high‑quality delivery for clients across Group Risk and Healthcare lines of business. You will be responsible for resource planning, client portfolio management, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day leadership, coaching and direction to a consulting team.
• Manage resource planning, workload allocation and operational effectiveness.
• Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, objective‑setting and salary/bonus input.
• Oversee quality assurance, technical guidance and consistency across client deliveries.
• Act as escalation point for team issues and drive service improvements.
• Maintain and grow a portfolio of strategic clients, acting as Customer Relationship Manager.
• Collaborate with new‑business teams to develop client opportunities.
• Represent the team in cross‑functional initiatives and external networking.

Required profile

• Proven experience line‑managing or leading a consulting team.
• Strong client relationship management skills, especially with strategic accounts.
• Ability to develop innovative, practical solutions for complex business challenges.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement capabilities.
• Experience in HR or People Solutions consulting is preferred.
