Senior Deal Desk Team Manager

This is a rare opportunity to build a truly strategic Deal Desk function at Perk — one that shapes how our Sales organisation structures, prices, and closes its most complex, high‑value deals. We're investing in this transformation now, and we want a leader who can turn that ambition into reality.

Key responsibilities

• Rebuild the Deal Desk operating model to focus on complex deal structuring and pricing strategy, removing manual admin tasks.
• Define ownership, support, automation, and hand‑off responsibilities across Legal, Finance, and Sales Operations.
• Establish performance metrics and reporting to track deal velocity and automation impact.
• Lead and develop a team of Deal Desk professionals, acting as a coach‑player on the most complex deals.
• Own pricing governance, deal structuring, and commercial risk judgement for non‑standard deals.
• Manage the CPQ platform end‑to‑end, driving improvements to configuration, pricing logic, and quoting workflows.
• Develop and execute an automation roadmap, prioritising AI‑driven solutions to eliminate repetitive manual work.
• Serve as the first line of defence on contract redlines and non‑standard terms, safeguarding revenue and compliance.

Required profile

• Strong Deal Desk experience within B2B SaaS, covering mid‑market and enterprise segments.
• Proven people‑management experience leading a Deal Desk or equivalent commercial/sales operations team.
• Coach‑player mindset: able to run high‑value deals while developing the team.
• Prior ownership of a complex CPQ platform with measurable improvements to quoting and deal velocity.
• Experience delivering automation or AI initiatives in partnership with engineering or systems teams.
• Excellent cross‑functional stakeholder management across Legal, Finance, Sales Operations, and Product.
• Comfortable thriving in a fast‑changing, ambiguous environment where processes are still being defined.
