Senior Employment Associate (6-9 years PQE)

About the role

AJ Chambers is partnering with a growing boutique law firm in central London to recruit a Senior Employment Associate. You will act as a lead advisor on complex contentious and non‑contentious matters, supporting senior executives and corporate clients on strategic HR and employment issues.

Key responsibilities

• Lead advisory work on high‑value tribunal litigation and court proceedings.
• Draft executive contracts, company policies and provide strategic advice on reorganisations, redundancies and corporate transactions.
• Manage M&A transactional work, due diligence and broader corporate support.
• Mentor, delegate to and supervise junior associates and trainees to ensure high‑quality output.
• Maintain a small client following and act for both employers and senior employees.

Required profile

• 6‑9 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in employment law.
• Demonstrated experience in both contentious and non‑contentious matters.
• Track record of advising senior executives or corporate clients on strategic HR issues.
• Ability to manage high‑value litigation and transactional work.
