Senior Employment Associate – London

About the role

Our client, a leading London law firm renowned for its employment practice, is seeking a Senior Employment Associate. You will work within a dynamic team that advises high‑profile clients in technology, media, entertainment, sport and fashion sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advice on both contentious and non‑contentious employment matters, from recruitment to termination.
• Draft and review employment policies, HR procedures and workplace guidelines.
• Represent employers in Employment Tribunal and High Court disputes.
• Support senior partners and lawyers on complex, high‑stakes cases.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of employment law developments affecting creative industries.

Required profile

• Qualified UK solicitor with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in handling both advisory and litigation employment work.
• Interest in sectors such as media, entertainment, sport, technology or digital platforms.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to manage senior client relationships.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience drafting employment contracts, policies and procedural documents.
• Litigation experience in Employment Tribunal and High Court proceedings.
