Senior Employment Solicitor – 5 to 8 years PQE

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Employment Solicitor to join our growing team in Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will have between five and eight years of post‑qualification experience (PQE) in employment law and will work on a diverse portfolio of client matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on all aspects of employment law to corporate and individual clients.
• Draft and negotiate employment contracts, policies, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in employment tribunals and court proceedings.
• Manage and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals.
• Develop business opportunities and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy.

Required profile

• 5‑8 years PQE in a reputable employment law practice.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a high‑performing team.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of UK employment legislation and case law.
• Experience with employment tribunal and court procedures.
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and contracts.
