Senior Executive – Accounts Receivables

About the role

The Senior Executive, Accounts Receivables will manage day‑to‑day billing for the London Stock Exchange’s service lines, ensuring compliance with processes, policies and KPIs. The role supports the Assistant Manager and Associate Managers in contract set‑up, invoicing and revenue assurance for both existing and potential customers. You will work closely with sales, legal and finance teams to guarantee accurate billing and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Assistant Manager and Associate Managers in setting up and invoicing all new business contracts.
• Handle the inter‑sales inbox, logging contract stages and ensuring contracts are booked each quarter.
• Monitor and track contracts across sales, legal and customers, completing contract checklists for billing review.
• Prepare credit notes, re‑bills and distribute billing documents.
• Produce month‑end revenue accrual journals for unrecognised revenue.
• Manage debt assigned to billing, provide status updates on credits and re‑bills, and support revenue assurance controls.
• Assist with external and internal audit queries and support wider finance teams during high‑volume periods.
• Drive continuous improvement of billing processes and participate in system testing and upgrades.

Required profile

• Pursuing a relevant degree or professional qualification at the intermediary level.
• Minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience with strong bookkeeping knowledge.
• Ability to work autonomously and make well‑informed decisions.
• Effective oral and written English communication.
• Strong time‑management skills to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to work according to UK business hours.
