Senior Legal Technology Reporter

About the role

You will report on the intersection of law and technology, focusing on developments across the UK and Europe. The role covers AI, e‑discovery, data privacy, cybersecurity, blockchain, IoT and how these technologies reshape the legal profession. Your stories will appear on Legaltech News, Law.com and other Centellic publications.

Key responsibilities

• Publish at least one piece of content daily, including articles, enterprise pieces or multimedia projects.
• Build and maintain a reliable network of sources across law firms, legal‑tech companies and corporate legal departments.
• Cover the legal‑technology beat, securing scoops on product launches, mergers, regulatory changes and major litigation.
• Generate ideas for daily and enterprise coverage and write clean copy under tight deadlines.
• Collaborate with other editorial teams to develop a holistic view of the legal market.
• Travel to and report on legal‑technology conferences and events.

Required profile

• Degree in journalism, communications or equivalent experience; at least 2 years of professional reporting preferred.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple tasks under strict daily deadlines with strong organisational skills.
• Comfort working in a small, collaborative team and sharing new ideas.
• Social‑media proficiency and quick mastery of content‑management systems.
