Senior MEP Planner

About the role

We are seeking a Senior MEP Planner to join a Tier 1 contractor delivering landmark commercial and infrastructure projects across London and the South East. The role will own the planning of complex mechanical and electrical schemes from pre‑construction through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and manage detailed MEP programmes using Asta Powerproject or Primavera P6.
• Collaborate with pre‑construction, design and delivery teams to align sequencing and buildability.
• Conduct critical‑path analysis and scenario planning to identify and mitigate risks.
• Produce progress reports, look‑aheads and client‑facing updates.
• Interface with subcontractors and client representatives to drive planning excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MEP planning on major build or infrastructure projects (£50M+).
• Strong command of planning software (P6/Asta), methodologies and reporting.
• Background in mechanical and electrical systems with solid understanding of coordination and phasing.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
