Senior Practitioner – Children in Care

About the role

Our client Walsall Council is seeking a Senior Practitioner to join the Children in Care team, delivering high‑quality support to children and young people.

Key responsibilities

• Hold and manage a caseload of children and young people.
• Build strong, trusting relationships with children, families, and carers.
• Work collaboratively within a multi‑disciplinary team.
• Contribute to care planning, permanency planning, and reunification work.
• Apply restorative and relationship‑based practice principles.
• Ensure high‑quality, timely assessments and interventions.
