Senior Principal – Brand Strategy (Life Sciences Consulting)

About the role

Prescient Healthcare Group is seeking a Senior Principal to lead brand‑strategy projects for pharmaceutical clients. You will work across the full product life‑cycle, translating customer and patient insights into winning commercial strategies for global biopharma brands. You will lead a team of Engagement Managers and Associate Consultants, delivering insight‑driven strategies that drive brand growth.

Key responsibilities

• Project Directing – collaborate with clients to design and deliver strategic projects that answer critical business questions.
• Account Management – develop and execute strategic account plans, deepen existing relationships and expand Prescient’s footprint within client organisations.
• Business Development – identify new opportunities within current accounts and pursue new brand engagements.
• Project Management – oversee design, planning, facilitation, analysis and reporting of client engagements.
• Client Management – ensure best‑in‑class service and maintain strong client satisfaction.
• Subject‑Matter Expertise – act as an external expert and mentor junior staff.
• Thought Leadership – work with marketing to produce content that enhances Prescient’s brand.
• Line Management – coach and develop the Commercial strategy team, focusing on delivering concise, impactful insights.

Required profile

• Relevant bachelor’s or advanced degree in life sciences, preferably with business or marketing components.
• 10+ years of professional experience, including at least 7 years in life‑sciences consulting with strategy and primary market research.
• Proven business‑development and account‑management track record.
• Exceptional strategic, analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
• Extensive experience leading and developing consulting teams.
• Confident communication skills for peer‑to‑peer client interaction.
